Everyone has a story to tell.
It’s time to reclaim your voice and tell it your way.

Does this sound like you?

"I have something to say, but I'm not sure what it is.""I'm not sure about this whole journaling thing.""I'm not a writer. I hate writing!""Journaling is dumb, all you do is write down what happened during your day."

What if you could...

“Write the rage. Write letters that will never get sent. Say everything you wanted to say, everything you did say, everything they should have been able to hear you say.”
— JENNIFER CROSS

Look...

Your stories and your words, they matter. If you’ve been silenced or shut down for using your voice — remember that your writing, in whatever form it takes, is valid.

I have witnessed the power words can have on individuals and how much healing and recovery can come from the page.

The proof is in the stories we tell ourselves.

The truths we force ourselves to face through the page because at least that’s easier on the heart than facing it head-on.

The page reveals what our heart wants to say, but can’t speak aloud.

What's more magical than that?

Hi, I'm Jade!

I cringe when I hear people say that magic doesn’t exist. Why?

Because it absolutely does exist.

I truly believe that words and stories change the world. I don’t think there’s anything more magical than that.

I’m living proof that healing can start by simply putting the words from my head onto the page.

And you can be proof too if you’re ready to harness the power of words.

WHAT YOU'LL BE LEARNING IN THIS WORKSHOP:

MODULE ONE: EXPRESSIVE WRITING BASICS
We’ll look at two pioneers in the field of expressive writing and how they started the expressive writing movement. We’ll go over writing guidelines, suggestions, as well as the benefits of completing the post-writing questionnaire.

MODULE TWO: TRANSACTIONAL WRITING
In this module, we’ll be transitioning to a slightly different type of writing called Transactional Writing. Transactional writing’s purpose is to complete an exchange of thoughts, beliefs, and feelings with someone else.

MODULE THREE: CONNECTION WRITING
This module’s writing exercises differ from the previous exercises in that they rely upon something outside the self to evoke a personal response, which helps guides the writing process. By bringing multimedia into the session, the source of the writing is through the connection you have with the material.

MODULE FOUR: AFFIRMATIVE & LEGACY WRITING
During this module, we’ll wrap up the course by learning about affirmative and legacy writing. These are exercises celebrating your present and your future.

MODULE FIVE: BONUSES & BEYOND
We’ll talk about the options in moving forward after the course and you’ll get a treasure trove of downloads to help you continue your expressive writing practice long after the course is over.
